I have been dancing since I was 3 years old but it wasn’t until I came to Spotlite that I came to understand the true meaning of a dancers life. I was able to express myself as a dancer and as a person with no restrictions. All of the teachers encouraged me to reach far beyond my own expectations and showed me there was no limit to what I could achieve as a dancer. More importantly they instilled in me a sense of respect for others and the confidence to stand up for what I believe and the true meaning of family. As a result of the everlasting encouragement I am able to continue dancing in college as a UofL Ladybird. Thank you Meghan, Lyndee, Mesa and the entire Spotlite Staff for loving and believing in me.
