Nicki Festervand

Biography

All know me as Nicki the jack of all trades! Dancing since I was three and teaching longer than I want to admit. I graduated from Middle TN State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s of Business Administration while spending my free time dancing with the Middle TN Dance Team. My speciality is ballet, stretching, and dancer conditioning. I was lucky enough to study under Oleg Briansky and Mireille Briane in New York and have my barre certification through BarreAmped. I love introducing dance to new students and watching them grow & become confident with their own movement. I have been blessed to be a part of the Spotlite Dance Family since 2015. I live here in Murfreesboro with my hubby and three kiddos: Sam (14)-my twin, James Ryan (12)-my boy in the middle, and Stella (8)-my wild child. When I’m not at the studio (which is a rare occasion), you can find me either teaching barre for Barre11, helping families take the leap into homeownership at PARKS Realty, or shopping for my new boutique named after my youngest Stella Jane. I cannot wait to see what this year brings for our current and new dancers! Let the fun begin!
